Job Title: Android Developer
Job Profile:
The Android developer will be responsible for developing applications for mobile devices powered by Google’s Android operating system. They must be proficient with one of the two programming languages for this platform: Java or Kotlin. They must also have a strong understanding of the patterns and practices that revolve around the Android platform.
Experience: 2-3 Years
Qualification:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
Responsibilities:
• Designing and building advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Requirements:
• Work experience in Android development of a minimum of 2 years.
• Have published one or more Android apps in the Google Play Store.
• A deep familiarity with Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK.
• Basic OOPS concepts should be clear.
• Experience working with Android frameworks.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
Skills:
• Comfortable using the latest versions of Kotlin or Java and Android Studio IDE.
• Should follow Android's Design Guidelines.
• Provide rich UI and UX design experience.
• Should follow Android Material Design Guidelines.
• Sound knowledge and experience of having worked with version control tools like GIT.
• Use of web services and JSON to consume APIs.
• Strong communication skills.
